🔓 How to Access the Military Area

The Military Area is not accessible from the start. You must progress through the game's core expansion mechanics first.

Step 1: Upgrade the Generator Continuously deposit Gasoline into your base Generator to level it up. Each level expands the map boundaries, gradually revealing new zones.
Step 2: Expand to Outer Zones The Military Area appears in the outer expansion zones. You'll need the generator at a high level to push map boundaries far enough to reach it.
Step 3: Prepare Your Loadout Do NOT enter the Military Area unprepared. Bring your best weapons, full Makeshift Armor (35% DMG reduction), medical bandages, and ideally enter with a coordinated team.
Step 4: Enter During Daytime Only Time your raid carefully. You need maximum safe exploration time. If night falls while you're in the Military Area, the combination of zombie spawns and Bandit AI will overwhelm a solo player.

⚠️ Military Area Threats

The Military Area is heavily contested by hostile forces. Expect significantly tougher enemies than the standard urban zones.

Elite Bandit Squads

Heavily armed Bandit AI patrols the Military compound with coordinated squad tactics. They carry military-grade weapons, deploy grenades against cover, and use armored vehicles. Target the Passenger first (grenade thrower), then the Driver.

Armored Zombies

The Military zone spawns higher-tier zombies with increased armor and damage. Standard and Extreme Zombies populate the area even during daytime, making every scavenging run a combat encounter.

⚠️ Tactical Advice: The Military Area is designed for coordinated team raids, not solo runs. Bring at least 2-3 players: one Engineer (for repairs if damaged), one combat class (Commander or Soldier), and one support (Medic). Solo runners should use the Assassin's stealth mechanics (-30% aggro range) to avoid engagements.

🎯 Military Area Raid Strategies

The Speed Run Approach

For teams focused on efficiency, the speed run approach prioritizes grabbing high-priority loot and extracting before nightfall.

Dawn Start: Enter the Military Area at the very beginning of the day cycle for maximum safe time.
Split & Grab: Have team members split into different buildings. Priority targets: weapon racks, ammo crates, turret parts.
Rally & Retreat: Regroup at a designated point and return to base before half the day cycle is gone. Leave a safety margin for Bandit encounters on the return route.

The Systematic Clear

For teams that want to completely clear the Military Area, move building-by-building as a unit.

Perimeter Sweep: Clear exterior Bandit patrols first. Eliminate vehicle crews by targeting the Passenger → Driver → Gunner.
Building Clear: Enter buildings as a 2-person stack. One player covers the entrance while the other clears rooms and loots.
Extraction: Load up everything. Use upgraded backpacks for maximum carry capacity. Coordinate the return trip to base.
